Employers who wish to hire workers on a temporary or permanent basis, and individuals who wish to immigrate to Canada, may be eligible for one or more of the following immigration and/or foreign worker programs.
Workers hired on a temporary basis can apply for permanent residency once they are in Canada, and foreigners awaiting a decision on a permanent residency application (including under provincial nominee programs) may apply for a temporary work permit while their application is being processed.
Employers and candidates interested in such programs can obtain more information by contacting jobCan, or by emailing stacey@jobcan.net.
